Job Description
Performs technical work providing fire suppression and human health emergency medical services. Assists in maintaining equipment inventory on emergency vehicles. Maintains vehicles in a clean and working order. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associate degree with courses in fire science, emergency health sciences or related field; five to ten years related experience and/or training in fire suppression, prevention and/or emergency medical service; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of a valid appropriate drivers license issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Must possess and maintain required certifications appropriate to duty assignment within the Fire/EMS department. Bilingual, Spanish/English speakers encouraged to apply. Work 36 hours per month. Must be available to work nights and weekends.
