The City of Harrisonburg Fire Department is seeking applications for the position of Firefighter – Part Time. These are year-round positions averaging 2-3 days per month at a minimum of $11.91 per hour.

Typical Qualifications:
Applicants to be considered for these positions must currently be employed as a firefighter with one of the following jurisdictions: Augusta and Rockingham Counties, Cities of Staunton and Waynesboro.

The following certifications are required: Virginia Firefighter II, EMT and Hazardous Materials Operations, or a VA recognized equivalency.
