Location: County of Prince George, Virginia
Prince George County is currently seeking qualified applicants for Firefighter/EMT–Intermediate/Paramedic. This position will be responsible for responding to emergency calls; providing basic and advanced life support emergency medical services; assisting in the suppression of fires; preparing and maintaining detailed records.
Salary Ranges: Intermediate ($37,716-$60,345), Paramedic ($40,545-$64,871).
Qualification Requirements:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent, current certification as an EMT–Intermediate or EMT–Paramedic. Must be certified as an ALS provider and Virginia Emergency Vehicle Operation Certification. Prefer two years previous experience.
Special Requirements:
PLEASE ATTACH COPY OF CURRENT CERTIFICATIONS. Applications will not be considered if current certifications (Virginia or National Registry EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic; CPR, EVOC Class III, Hazardous Materials Awareness, NIMS 700, and ICS 100) are not included with the completed application.
Pre-employment physical/drug testing and comprehensive criminal and financial background check, to include fingerprinting, required.
